속회란 무엇인가요?
속회는 단순한 친교 모임이나,
식사 준비를 위한 봉사 모임도 아닙니다.
또한 단순한 성경 공부 모임도 아닙니다.
속회는, 한 달에 한 번 이상 만나,
회심 이후 성화의 여정을 돕기 위해,
사랑 안에서 서로의 구원을 돌보고 점검하는
소그룹 모임입니다.
(“Watching over one another in love”)
속회에서 우리는 서로에게 묻습니다:
“당신의 영혼은 지금 어떠합니까?”
“이번 주, 죄와 어떻게 싸우셨습니까?”
“하나님의 은혜를 어떻게 경험하셨습니까?”
A class meeting is not simply a fellowship gathering or a volunteer team for preparing meals. Nor is it merely a Bible study group.
A class meeting is a small discipleship community that meets at least once a month to help one another grow in sanctification after conversion.
In this gathering, we lovingly care for and examine one another’s spiritual lives—
“watching over one another in love.”
In a class meeting, we ask one another questions such as:

“How is it with your soul?”

“How have you struggled against sin this week?”

“Where have you experienced God’s grace?”
The class meeting is a place where we grow together in grace, honesty, and holy love.
How Is a Class Meeting Structured?

◦서로를 환영합니다. Welcome one another warmly.
◦차나 가벼운 간식을 나눌 수 있습니다. Feel free to share tea or light refreshments.
◦서로의 이름을 소개하고, 아이스 브레이크 질문 한 가지를 나눕니다. Take time to introduce yourselves briefly and share an icebreaker question.

1. 미국에 오신지 몇 년 되셨습니까? 어떻게 오시게 되었습니까?
2. 가장 좋아하는 계절은? 그 이유는 무엇입니까?
3. 1년 동안 휴가를 당장 떠날 수 있다면, 어디로 가시겠습니까? 그 이유는?
4. 거의 죽을 뻔 했던 적이 있습니까? 어떤 일이었습니까?
5. 나의 '소울 푸드(Soul food)'는 무엇입니까?
6. 내가 십대였을 때, 무엇을 할 때 가장 행복을 느꼈습니까?
7. 평생 한 가지 음식만 먹어야 한다면, 무엇을 고르시겠습니까?
8. 무인도에 들어가서 한 달을 산다고 할 때, 3가지만 가지고 갈 수 있다면, 무엇을 선택하시겠습니까?
9. 성경 인물 중 가장 좋아하는 인물은? 그 이유는?
10. 내가 잃어버렸던 것들 중 가장 비싸거나 기억에 남는 사건은?
◦[사도행전 2:42-47]을 함께 읽습니다. <인도자>는 우리가 왜 모였는지를 간단히 설명합니다. Read Acts 2:42–47 together. The leader briefly explains why we gather.
◦여는 기도를 통해, 자연스럽게 <경배와 찬양> 시간으로 전환합니다. Open in prayer, then transition naturally into a time of worship and praise.
◦<찬양 인도자>가 3-4곡을 끊김없이 인도합니다. 곡 사이의 멘트를 최소화 하고, 사람들의 하나님께 집중할 수 있도록 환경을 조성합니다. The worship leader leads 3–4 songs in a continuous flow, medley-style. Avoid unnecessary speaking between songs so the focus remains on worship.
◦기타나 피아노의 도움을 받으면 더 좋습니다. If possible, having guitar or piano accompaniment is encouraged.
◦개인별로 볼 수 있도록 악보를 미리 준비하십시오. Prepare printed lyrics or music in advance so each person can follow along.
◦찬양을 통해, 하나님의 임재로 나아가십시오. Through worship, intentionally lead the group into God’s presence.
◦돌아가면서 속회 공과의 본문을 읽습니다. Take turns reading the lesson content from the class meeting study guide.
◦다 읽어오신 경우, <속회 인도자>가 내용을 3분 이내로 요약합니다. If everyone has read it in advance, the class leader briefly summarizes the main points in three minutes or less.
◦공과에 있는 질문을 중심으로 돌아가면서 나눕니다. Using the questions in the study guide, take turns sharing your reflections and responses.
◦서로의 기도제목을 나눕니다. 함께 기도합니다. Share personal prayer requests and pray together.
◦더 깊은 나눔을 위해 남/여 모임을 나눌 수도 있습니다. For deeper sharing, the group may divide into men’s and women’s groups.
◦전도 대상자를 나누고 기도합니다. Share the names of those you are praying for and seeking to reach, and pray for them together.
◦선교지 소식을 나누고, 함께 기도합니다. Share updates from supported mission fields and pray together.
