재미한국 부모님 대상 설문 조사

재미한국 부모님,

일리노이 주립대학 영문학과에서 제2언어 습득을 가르치고 연구하는 강 현숙 교수입니다. 한국학 중앙연구원의 보조로, 재미한국계 부모님들의 아동 이중 언어습득에 관한 연구를 하고 있습니다.

이 연구를 위해 갓난 아이에서 18세까지 자녀분을 둔 한국계 부모님의 협조를 구하고 있습니다. 이 설문조사는 한국어나 영어 중 선호하는 언어를 사용해서 읽고 답할 수 있습니다. 설문조사를 다 하신 후, 추첨해서 선택 된 20 분에게는 Amazon.com의 50달러짜리 선물 카드를 보내드립니다. 설문지 답하는데 10-15분정도 걸리고, 한 가족당 한 부모님이 답해 주시면 좋겠습니다.

Dear Parent:

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Illinois State University, teaching and conducting research about second language learning and bilingualism. With the support of the Academy of Korean Studies in South Korea, I am conducting a study about Korean-American parents' beliefs and practices with respect to childhood bilingualism.

For the study, I am looking for self-identified Korean and Korean-American parents with children from birth to 18 years old. You can read and answer the survey in either Korean or English, whichever language is more convenient for you. After completing the survey, you may enter a raffle where 20 randomly selected winders will receive $50 gift cards from Amazon.com. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and it will be great if one parent from a family can take the survey.
