2013년 새해가 밝았습니다.
세상은 온통 모두 다 힘들다는 소리들 뿐이지만 우리는 주님과 함께 시작하는 새해이기 때문에 희망에 찬 새해입니다. 소망이 있는 새해입니다. 주님이 주시는 새로운 계획과 꿈을 가지고 시작하는 새해, 하나님의 인도하심 가운데서 모든 것을 성취하는 복된 새해가 되기를 기원합니다.
최근 몇년동안은 미국뿐 아니라 전세계를 뒤덮은 경제적인 한파로 인해 우리 모두가 움츠리고 살고 있습니다. 그러나 “神은 다시 일어서는 법을 가르치기 위해 우리를 넘어뜨린다”라는 말이 있는데, 개인이든 나라든, 이런 어려움을 통해서 우리는 더욱 하나님만을 의지하며 사는 법을 배워야 할 것입니다.
새해라고해서 어제 떠오른 태양과 다른 태양이 떠오르는 것은 아니지만 우리의 마음가짐에 따라서 똑같은 하늘도 똑같은 나무도 달리 보이는 법입니다.
어제까지는 비록 힘들고 아팠더라도 하나님께서 주시는 새로운 시간의 선물이 있으므로 우리는 다시 시작할 수가 있습니다. 아픔이 있기 때문에, 상처가 있기 때문에 그 자리에서 돋아나는 새살의 귀중함을 알 수가 있는 법입니다.
새해, 앞서가시는 주님만 따라가며 사는 우리가 되기를 소원합니다.
앞장서 가시는 주님은 우리에게 따라오기만 하면 모든 것을 책임지신다고 하시기 때문입니다. 주님 하신대로만 하면 된다고 말씀하십니다.
복잡하고 어렵게 생각하지 말고 기도하며 말씀보며 당신만 따라오라는 주님만 따라서 살면서 우리에게 주어진 새로운 시간 앞에서 다시 인생의 한 부분을 아름답게 그려가는 2013년이 되기를 주님의 이름으로 축원합니다.
Year 2013 Has Dawned upon Us
Many of the news sources predicted a grim year for 2013 but for us it is a joyous beginning of the new year because we are starting with Jesus. It is the year of hope.
I pray that all things will be blessed through Christ this year as we center on God's vision and purpose. For last three or four year, the economic crisis has swept through the globe. There is a saying that goes, “God lets us fall so that we may learn to get up again.” Whether hardship affects individuals or a nation as whole, the result is that we will trust in God with greater dependency and faith.
New year doesn't bring in a new sun, but our perspective on life can change depending on what we choose to focus. The wonderful gift of a new year given to us by God allows us to start with a fresh mind-set and hope. Because we have experienced pain and suffering, we can stand up and appreciate the gift of new life. Let us follow Jesus closely this year. Jesus promises us that he will take full responsibility for our lives if we would follow after him. All we need to do is obey him. Let us make year 2013 a year filled with God's blessing as we live in obedience through the Scripture and prayer.
